Spencer Williams
President & CEO
As President and CEO, J. Spencer Williams
brings his 20+ years of experience in starting, building
and leading businesses in the financial services industry
to RolloverSystems, Inc.
Prior to joining RolloverSystems,
Mr. Williams served in numerous roles with MassMutual from
1997 to 2007, most recently in a leadership role in starting
and building the company’s
retirement income and rollover IRA lines of business. Before
starting those businesses, Mr. Williams headed MassMutual’s
Life Sales & Marketing efforts to distribute life insurance
through the Career Agency System, as well as third party
distributors including banks, broker-dealers and independent
agencies.
Mr. Williams was formerly the founder and CEO of Persumma
Financial, LLC, a MassMutual Financial Group company. Persumma
Financial was formed in late 1999 to provide a new generation
of retirement services to corporate defined contribution
plans. Spencer was also Senior Vice President, Chief Financial
Officer and a member of the MassMutual Retirement Services
Group executive management team from 1997 to 1999. During
his tenure, he managed the financial aspects of the Retirement
Services, Annuities, and Trust lines of business. In addition,
he served as Chief financial Officer for the MassMutual Institutional
and MML Series mutual fund families. Mr. Williams was the
1999 recipient of MassMutual's President's Leadership award.
Prior to joining MassMutual, Mr. Williams was Senior Vice
President of Retirement Plan Services for Federated Investors,
where he led the business and service operation of the company's
corporate and institutional retirement plan products. Mr.
Williams/He spent over a decade in a variety of positions
in the financial services industry, including stock and option
trading on the floor of several major U.S. exchanges, heading
the development and operation of an international family
of mutual funds based in the U.S., and an international stock
arbitrage operation.
Mr. Williams also served on active
duty in the U.S. Navy for five years, and participated
in the liberation of Grenada and the United Nations' peacekeeping
operations in Beirut, Lebanon.
Mr. Williams earned his B.A. degree
in English from the United States Naval Academy and an
MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is registered
with the NASD as a General Securities Principal and General
Securities Representative. Spencer, his spouse, Loretta,
and their family recently relocated to the Carolinas, near
RolloverSystems’ headquarters
in Charlotte, NC.
Dan Wright
Chief Operating Officer
Dan Wright is the Chief Operating
Officer for RolloverSystems charged with running daily
operations. Mr. Wright has
over 20 years experience in the broker dealer, mutual fund,
investment management and retirement services industries. Prior
to joining RolloverSystems, Mr. Wright was a Partner with
Hobbs | Madison, Inc. where he specialized in business and
technology strategy, design, and operations management.
Mr. Wright previously served as Senior Vice President
at Pioneer Investments, where he was responsible for Technology,
Investment Operations and Shareholder Services. His
scope included Investment Support, Portfolio Accounting,
Operations Performance, Client Service, Dealer Service, NSCC,
Retirement Group Plans, Compliance, Vendor Relationship Management,
Shareholder Correspondence, Legal Research, Financial Administration & Analysis,
Print/Mail Administration, Year End Tax Reporting, Training,
and Quality Control. Mr. Wright also served as
Chief Information Officer for Persumma Financial, Senior
Vice President of Operations and Technology for Babson Capital,
and as Chief Information Officer for Liberty Financial Companies.
Mr. Wright has a B.S. degree in computer science from Southern
New Hampshire University and a BGS degree in business management
from the University of New Hampshire.
Zerrick Bynum
Chief Financial Officer
Zerrick Bynum is the Chief Financial Officer for RolloverSystems,
Inc. Mr. Bynum provides extraordinary expertise and leadership
for managing the company's financial and growth strategies.
Mr. Bynum has over 10 years of experience
in finance and entrepreneurial management. Prior to joining
RolloverSystems, Mr. Bynum was the founding principal of
Charlotte Franchise Partners, LLC, a private investment
firm where he led the finance, legal and business development
/ acquisition efforts. In addition, Bynum worked as an
investment banker at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and Bowles Hollowell Conner & Company
(now part of Wachovia Securities), where he conducted numerous
mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, equity offerings
and restructurings.
Mr. Bynum has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford
University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Jim Langenwalter
Chief Marketing
Officer
Jim Langenwalter is the Chief Marketing Officer for RolloverSystems,
Inc. Mr. Langenwalter has a 26 year track record of developing
and marketing technology based business models in the investment
services and banking industries. His passion is to develop
repeatable sales models that integrate tactical and strategic
marketing to enable more efficient revenue production.
Mr. Langenwalter founded MMA and successfully
managed the company through all phases of its development
financing and exit. MMA had two fully owned subsidiaries. SaveSimply
Inc. provided an internet based IRA and investment products
platform to profitably deliver fully advised investment services
to small balance investors. SaveSimply Advisors Inc. was
a Nationally Registered Investment Advisory company created
to capture additional revenue by managing the investment
advice delivered through the online delivery platform.
Prior to founding Mid-Market America Inc., Mr. Langenwalter
held Vice President level positions in large financial services
and technology services companies such companies as Mellon
Bank, Federated Investors, Carnegie Group (now Logica), SMS
Consulting (a.k.a. ISI) and the Mellon Bank Datacenter (now
Fiserv). His experience centers around helping financial
services companies leverage technology to improve service
quality, increase sales or reduce cost from existing sales,
marketing and service strategies.
Mr. Langenwalter has an Executive
MBA from the Katz Business School (University of Pittsburgh)
and a B.S. degree from West Virginia University with a
Major in Marketing Management and a Minor in Systems Design. He is the former Chairman
of the Board for the Eden Christian Academy, a 572 student
board-run private school and led the development of a high
school including a new campus. He is also an Elder at Northway
Christian Community Church, a 4,000-member congregation and
is an active mentor to young professionals.
